Everyone you ask has amazing stories about his sense of humor, his generosity, and the laughter he brought with him. He loved regaling his friends with stories of his childhood adventures. Troy was a wonderful story teller with an astounding memory. He also loved BYU football and frequently watched the games with his family. He will love to watch his Yankees in this year’s playoffs. Troy also shared his mom’s passion for the New York Yankees and watched every game. He had a one handicap and could hit the ball off the tee with his putter and make it fly. Troy loved to play and teach others the game of golf, one of his most favorite past times. Troy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Troy was a beloved son, brother, father, and husband. Troy was born in Murray on Februto George and Connie Sample. With devasted hearts we announce the passing of Troy Don Sample on October 6, 2022.
